Star Chess stores the following information locally on your device:

• Game Data: Your chess games, including move history, board positions, and game outcomes

• Saved Games: Games you choose to save for later replay and analysis

This data is stored using Apple's SwiftData framework and remains on your device. We do not have access to this information.

• Location data
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Device identifiers for tracking purposes
• Contact lists or photos
• Payment information (the App is currently free)

How We Use Your Information

Since all data is stored locally on your device, we use this information solely to:

• Provide the core functionality of the chess game

Data Storage and Security

All game data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework, which provides secure, encrypted storage. Your data never leaves your device and is protected by your device's security features, including device passcode and biometric authentication if enabled.

Data Backup

Your game data may be included in your device's iCloud backup if you have iCloud Backup enabled in your device settings. This backup is managed by Apple and is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. You can control whether app data is backed up to iCloud in your device settings.

Third-Party Services

Star Chess does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The App operates entirely offline and does not communicate with external servers.

Apple Services

The App is distributed through the Apple App Store and uses Apple's native frameworks (SwiftUI, SwiftData, SceneKit). These services are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not receive any personal information from Apple about our users.

Children's Privacy

Star Chess is suitable for users of all ages, including children. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children or any users. Since the App does not collect or transmit personal data, it complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations.

Parents and guardians should be aware that:

• The App can be used by children safely without sharing personal information
• No registration or account creation is required
• The App does not contain advertisements or in-app purchases that could inadvertently collect data
• All game data is stored locally on the device

Data Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over your data:

• Delete Individual Games: You can delete saved games within the App
• Clear All App Data: You can clear all app data by deleting and reinstalling the App
• iOS Data Management: You can manage app data through iOS Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Star Chess

Data Portability

Your game data is stored in a standard format on your device. If we add data export features in future updates, you will be able to export your game history in portable formats.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any material changes by:

• Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
